LACS: Career Opportunities for Survivors? HELP NEEDED!!

Perhaps those who don't know my cause are a little late to the party, but I hope this topic leaves you feeling uncomfortable. If you desire to change someone's life suffering side effects of cancer treatment, I can help you.

In 2008, after years of trying to maintain my established career at ESPN, I finally succumbed to the inevitable. Long-term side effects stemming from chemotherapy & radiation forced my retirement from the worldwide leader. 

Mark survived Stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Despite surviving my diagnosis of Stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma (doctors initially gave me six months to live) in December 1990, I could no longer avoid the residual damage my body suffered. Many children who survived treatment are suffering from similar issues. The American Cancer Society refers to them as "Late Effects."

Crohn's disease and Lymphedema are challenging to deal with individually. The combination of both makes working or doing anything consistent, extremely difficult. We need the help of companies, entrepreneurs, doctors, etc. - anyone whose life cancer affects. We need partners to provide opportunities for those affected by cancer.

Many cancer survivors face my current situation. Thanks to assistance from my fiance and other friends, I'm moving into an apartment in Alabama. If I don't find employment soon, making rent won't be feasible.  If you desire to help hire those suffering from LTSE, please partner with us. HOW TO HELP

I started CKMagicSports.com in 2015 to create opportunities for those dealing with similar issues. I can offer opportunities in the sports broadcasting/radio field (WorldWide Sports Radio Network), but it's just volunteer work without advertisers and sponsors. I've donated over 4,000 hours since 2015. 

DON’T BE A COWARDLY FOLLOWER…TAKE A RISK THAT WILL DRASTICALLY CHANGE LIVES

We are not looking for handouts. Receiving compensation for working hard ignites an entrepreneurial mindset. Receiving payment for services rendered also gives purpose and drastically reduces depression and other mental side effects. The reward for those investing is how often does one get the chance to end suffering and hopelessness in someone’s life? You will immediately see how your act of kindness, belief and taking a chance on someone will reap endless rewards.

I'm left scratching my head to the silence and disinterest of something so destructive. Suicide shouldn't be an option because we can't find companies to support cancer survivors happy to offer their talents to survive. Frankly, the silence from the professional community boggles my mind. I probably should be more politically correct, but starving and living on the streets with multiple chronic conditions destroyed that. I don’t have time for patience; action and partners interested in changing lives are welcome!
